This is a video walkthrough of Square's 1995 Super Nintendo Entertainment System game Chrono Trigger. I made this video from my own memory of my favorite video game growing up showing my optimal path and best strategies/character combos for each section of the game. While it's not a speedrun, it is intended to efficiently show you the most important steps of the game with little extra footage, so make sure to stop and talk to all the NPCs if you want to get a "fuller" experience!

Part 7: The Hero Appears -- Tata and the Frog +Bosses#5&6: Zombor and Masa&Mune
Crono and friends return to the knight captain eager to help the struggling troops. They receive a Gold Helm for agreeing to help and rush across the bridge. Pelting Ozzie a few times they reach the end where he summons Zombor!
ZOMBOR STRATEGY:
Top half immune to Lightning/Fire, Bottom half immune to Ice. Hit each half with what it's not immune to and heal when you get low with Aura Whirl. Pretty simple.
With the victory at the bridge secured, it's time to grab a Magic Scarf from Frog's home in the cursed woods. After equipping it to Lucca, now having one on each of our magical females, they stop at the Market down south and equip themselves with some new armor. Then they head to the Denardo Mountains where the legendary Masamune is. Fighting their way up the mountain, they make sure to attack all Ogans with fire to make them drop their hammers and pick up a number of things along the way: Ether, Revive, 500G, Mid Ether, Revive, Gold Helm, Mid Tonic, Mid Ether, 600G and a Mid Tonic. They then leap from the furthest most left point of the waterfall down to find a Silver Stud and Silver Earring! They stop and harass a friendly mountain monster enjoying the view into giving them a Magic tab and apply it to Marle. Healing at the next save point and grabbing a Mid Ether and a hidden Speed Tab (given to Marle), the three heros march up the last bridge to the Masamune's resting place, but not before grabbing a shelter in plain view!
MASA&MUNE STRATEGY:
Phase 1:
Use Hypno Wave. Attack one while the other sleeps. They do practically nothing without the other.
Phase 2:
Here's where it gets slightly trickier. Use Antipod or Fire and Ice seperately if needed and Crono's Attack to deal damage and Aura Whilr to heal up. His counterattack phase begins when he says "Storing for Tornado Power." You CAN get away with a hit or two from his counterattack, but you MUST be fully healed up when he's finished charging as it will kill you if you aren't at full health. Take your time and heal up during his counterattack phase and you'll be fine.
The 3 successfully acquire the broken Masamune and ride the wind to the bottom of the mountain. They go take back the hero medal that Tata stole from Frog and go over to Frog's house. He continues to be emo and reveals the other chest in his house contains the other half of the Masamune! They make out the name Melchior on the hilt and rush to the end of time to have a quick rest before inquiring Melchior in 1000AD...
Bullet Points:
-Zombor: Use Fire/Lightning on the bottom, Ice on the top. Heal when low.
-Get Magic Scarf from Frog's home and buy 2x Berets and 3x Gold Suits.
-Follow the path and pick up all the treasures along the way. The 2 hidden treasures are found by jumping off the left most side of the waterfall.
-Grab the hidden speed tab after the save point and heal up.
-Masa&Mune: 1st Phase: Hypno Wave 1 to sleep, attack the other. 2nd Phase: Use Antipod or Fire/Ice and Crono's attack to damage. Stop attacking while he stores for tornado power and heal to full. Repeat.
-Get the medal from Tata at Tata's house down south and return to frog to get the 2nd half of Masamune.
-Heal and Save at TEoT
