Quick little video on how to install a standard mag release and put in a Raddlock Bullet button system.

Note: I didnt screw my mag release all the way in because it was only a deminstration. I was going to remove it as soon as I got it on so there was no point in fully installing it. Just showing how to start installing it.

To fully install the mag release you just have to screw it in until there is only about 1cm of the button sticking out. Pretty much as much as you can screw the lever side in before you hit the bolt release paddle mounts. Be careful not to scratch the paddle mounts.

Note: For some other rifles you may need to buy a bullet button instalation tool. This tool is a dedicated tool used for installing or removing the inner nut of the AR15 Bullet Button.

(This tool may be damaged if used to remove a nut that has been secured with Loctite. If you feel more than moderate resistance when attempting to turn the nut please stop as damage to the tool may result. Use a heat gun or torch to break down the Loctite on the nut prior to removal)

You can find the tool @ riflegear.com.

  • Will The RadLock work with those new California Complaint Colt m4 carbine in 5.56..

    Thanks..

  • @pimpnEd Yea it should as long as they use a standard bullet button/mag release.

If they have one on there it may be permanent or held on by lock tight. so make sure you look in your manual or call them up to be sure.

  • Thank you for this video, I was looking for an alternative to a BB

  • @speedwaypinoy No problem. Thanks for watching. Its a great bullet button.

  • @waynenkathy1021 He probably did the video in CA, fool.

  • Nice install instructions. The Viton O-ring use is optional but it has multiple roles. 1.Prevent AR Radddlock skirt from wearing out finish on your receiver. 2.Some receiver and mag-catch combo leaves a gap between AR Raddlock skirt & receiver even when the screw is tighten all the way. Although not necessary for it to function 100%, but the O-ring will take up the slack and add some tension to the install. Finally the 2nd Viton O-ring is a spare in case you manage to break it or lose it.

  • @Zykviticus. Hi buddy it's been taking me a wile for me to give you the information because I acctually broke two tools trying to get the button out. the tool is called a AR15 bullet button wrench and you can order it on line from Riflegear in the OC. their part number is SKU: AP-ARBB-WRENCH and its only like 6 dollars. You will probably will need to make your own tool like I did out of a screw driver becasue S&W used locktie on the nut n the tool is not strong enough. good luck!

  • @mikep3501 No luck on getting the tool yet? I bought a S&W M&P15 Sport here in California and I want to install the raddlock but can't figure out how to get the S&W bullet button off.
