@gabegambino actually Layne wrote almost half the lyrics and some of the music. Jerry is good in his own right, but AIC would have been nothing without Layne's voice.

I think it's unfair to keep comparing William to Layne. William is still a great singer and it seems they are just paying tribute to some amazing songs. Jerry wrote a lot of the music and he deserves to play them. It's still a great version. I'll always love Layne's voice, but I can't shit on someone else just because they're not Layne.

IMHO they should not do the original AIC songs, at least not in public. No offense to Devall but it just ruins the music, Layne and Jerry's voices are what made these songs great and they will obviopusly never be the same again.
