3DS Max Reactor. Toy Car Test 6

The latest in the line of experiments learning to use Reactor in 3DS Max 2010.
This time I've spent a bit more time on the camera work as I had neglected that a bit in the previous test.
I've also experimented with some excessive motion blur using the super fast HDR Image Motion Blur Shader (right at the end of the video).
I have used a proper video editing package for the first time here at had some problems getting it to output in a size and format that I wanted.
Also, the package I used didn't have the facility to import a series of still frames as an animation, so the video has been double compressed, which has affected the quality a little. Something for me to work on for next time....

Professional or amateur? Good question! I work freelance doing architectural visualisation, but most of the stuff I post here on youtube are elements of 3D Studio that I hadn't ever used as a part of my work, but I was curious about learning them.

Most of the things I've learnt about reactor have been from really rather good tutorials on here. Try micemincer. He's got an awesome series of car rigging tutorials in reactor, lots to learn there!

great work , i also start out from architectural visual , when u start learning all other possiblilty u tend to think . hmm ..maybe i rather work as a rigger or independend movie producer , i mean , with the prevalence of cloud computering , every1 doing archh visual might loose a job cos the biggest problem there is simply the rediculous rendering time , but a movie producer is different , its more then that , thats my 5 cents
