The first four stars (you have described) are what NOT to do; Stars # 5,6.7 are the virtues what young men and women should do: be good and kind person, uphold the family name and take care and build your own good family, etc.

A traditonal teochew tune. Basic ideas like Big bro err husband goes out to the dance club and bar everynight. Wifey goes out too much, doesn't take care of the family. Wifey gets older, but she behaves younger, wearing a short skirt and painting her eyelids blue looking like a bruise. If you do good now, you won't have to be a vegetarian when you're old err joining a buddhist temple. that's a basic translation of 20% of this song, hahah. it's great.
