Honda Civic Type R

THIS is a car that -- on paper -- should not work half as well as it does; most of its rivals have more power, a few have a theoretically better rear suspension but the Honda Civic Type R has a few tricks up its sleeve that mark it out as being a little bit special.
I've likened the Type R to a four-wheel motorbike and the analogy is a good one because of the intoxicating engine. It begs to be driven and revved hard and that high peak of power takes you into an addictive adrenalin zone. All the cars in this market are pretty quick and some have better handling but the engine gives the Honda some real soul, real heart.

Still makes me laugh. Why the hell do EP3 fanboys feel the need to incessantly comment on a FN2 review video? Who the hell cares if you personally think the Ep3 is better? Are you saying that because you genuinely like it better, whilst taking things like handling, suspension, sound, interior, exterior, VTEC into account? Or, are you just voicing hate towards the FN2 because you cannot afford one?

I have an FN2, and its a great machine. EP3 fanboys can sod off.

All i can say is my car is a 2002 model and has a 0-60 time of 6 to 6,5 seconds.

When you look at the newest hatches of this world they are the same. So I can keep up with new cars and a lot of people dont get that :D

Listen to that engine! I owned an EP3 Premier but it just screams whereas the new car is apparently a bit more muted which I think would appeal to me and that interior is just plain panty dropper brilliant!! :) EP3 probably is quicker on the track but in the real world dont think it'll be that far ahead and in terms of external looks, they both look awesome in different ways. EP3 is old-school but has real presence and that goes for the FN2. Focus ST?? No thanks! It looks like a Focus....boring!
