Skipped a few video segments, because it only involved simple operations to finish up. I will make up for it by doing videos on scope mounting, bore sighting, and other similar operations in the future.

  • @almazplusmaria Call Ken over at Rock Solid Industries. Best scope mount for the Mosin....period.

  • If you want to save every mosin I recommend you buy them all up and put them in your mom’s garage. These rifles are cheap and so is the ammo. I credit Eric with a job well done, he built himself something that he can be proud of and that he can a forward to shoot.

  • THAT IS AWESOME

  • @nameloc1000 Seriously, I was gongi to buy one off this man in Missouri and he was asking like 600 dollars for it. I almost had a heart attack.

  • @Iraqveteran8888 only thing better is the original scope mount but those are rare and pricey

  • At first I did not like the way you butcherd that nice military Mosin. But now I must congratulate you on a job well done and a great looking rifle.

In Norway we do not see many Mosin Nagants at the range. I have never fired or held one.

Here we have the Mauser 98 and it is has the same price as the Mosin in the US.

  • Seems like this rifle likes the heavier bullets.

  • @mattbaerg Try Brownell's and look for Soft-Eye. They have several sizes to fit various scopes.

  • Very nice work. I am partial to the mosin nagants. I like your bolt cycling technique. My action is one of the longer ones so it is taking me some time to adjust.

  • Thumbs down for Mormon advert.

That is one sweet looking Mosin!

  • I have no problem with sporterizing your Mosin as long as it's not of any historical significance and is just a run of the mill Mosin (Ishvesk, rounded receiver, wartime production) like this one was. Great job!

  • AWESOME
