Very sad news. I did not know that. Thanks for posting this information. Steve was very talented and I was happy to see them perform at this concert. R.I.P. Sharkey

i have to write the truth: i don't know the lead singer or recognise the voice. but it is a great performance !

If you have not heard Reunion before, you would not know their great lead singer, Steve Schmidt. Some of the guys in this group sang together as the Chime Times in the mid-60s, but I believe they only had one song released, which I have never heard. Reunion was formed in 1981 when the guys got back together again. Very glad they did!

It is a shame that Sharkey passed away. What a great voice he had.  I hear them sing in Passaic "Bumpsteads" also at the Hoboken Doo wop Cafe ( Rosebuds) He did a great rendition of Buffalo Soldier, another great voice is silenced. Thank God for Cd's and tapes and U Tube.
