Jennifer Jones - "Sway" 2006 National Showcase

Senior Extemporaneous Improvisation. In this event I was allowed to hear the music minutes prior to competing...from there you just go out and "make up " the choreography as you go! Stressful event, but always fun! **The video repeats over, not quite sure why it did that when I uploaded it???

Amazing, as usual!

I've heard of this competition event, where you only get to hear the music minutes before going on! We don't have any event category like that here, but I wish we did! A great test of really listening to the music. (Did you get a 6 minute warm up?)

Yes, you get a 3 minute warm up on ice ( I never do my on ice warm ups...I actually get more nervous on those than the actual event) It is a really fun event...you never know what you are going get! I will competing in 6 weeks again, hopefully I will get some fun music ;)

Skaters don't need to jump to be good.  Interpretive is fun!

in my opinion improvisations are made for fun and to test the choreography skills of the skaters...you did great :)amazing job from amazing skater
