Do you ever get musicians that play instruments (guitarists, pianists, etc) that want to learn to sing to enhance playing by ear skills? I ask this question because I have heard that learning to sing can help with playing an instrument and want to know if there is any truth to this. Thanks.

@BubbaJohnIsKing Yes I find this all the time. I also teach some of my students who are having trouble singing off key, to play their songs on the piano or the guitar. @Voicercise you have any way to fix a low voice i want it to naturally be more like of an idk how to explain it like a more high pitched but not too high pitched sound

and also do you have ways to fix that shortness of breath i always get (ive tryed voice lessons before but it really didnt help with my rap indevors just made me a better singer at church.....)

I would like to try to be a singer too! Every since I was a little kid I have always wanted to be a singer! I never had voice lessons, but in the seventh grade i took choir. Now i am a freshman in Highschool and would like to sing more. I nervous to ask my parents to get me singing lessons, because I know I am a really bad singer, and I dont yell too much, so know my voice would need a lot of practice. I just want to be a good singer, and maybe start off simple like joining a church choir. tips?
