Casting Sterling Silver into cuttlefish bone by Marina Andersen. Each time a cast is done the mold is then discarded as it is burnt in the process of contact with molten silver. The results in every piece being unique and original. Cuttlebone casting is an ancient technique with beautiful and natural patterns embedded within the silver. See website www.marinaandersen.com

  • Hi guys, no apologies for the lack of dialogue as that wasn't really the purpose. But if you want to give it a go, I recommend reading articles in Ganoskin ( just search for it)

  • Yes, would agree some dialog would be beneficial. Work is very nice.

  • Not very informative, pictures are great but how about a little dialog? For instance, the veiwer might like to know that it stinks to high heaven when you do the pour.
