Truly sung well , Asha JI is a great singer for film songs no doubt but this Ghazal belongs to Gulam Ali Sahib , the true Maestro of ghazals

Aashaji is a unique singer. Ghulam Ali as a composer and singer is great. He should be flatterred that other singers especially greats like Aashaji have attempted his song. In 1983 GA and Aashaji collaborated on a ghazal album which to this day is simply great.

She has sung it beautifully, no doubts on that, but Ghulam Ali´s version was better, there was a very light music in it and very suitable notes used by him.

I really like this version of the song. She sang differently and added her own style to it plus it has more of a jazzy bluesy type feel to it. I really like it.
