Best clip of the entire move. I have been waiting and waiting for someone to post this. Thank you! This is exactly my favorite scene from the movie, exactly from where it starts to the finish.
The tone set by the camera when Melvin walks back into the restaurant and pans to Carol is electric and beautiful. Then the reciprocation of Jack's handssomeness and its effect on Carol. Then of course the tremendous table conversation of "better man."
This is acting + scriptwriting at its best.

3:24 lol!! gets me every time. reminds me of my dad. he did the exact same thing at a restaurant long before this movie ever came out. i was on the ground laughing the first time i saw this and still do. classic. that's ordering dinner like a boss!

Excellent scene, but the push in to Helen Hunt's face after he says she makes him want to be a better man is a bit cheesy.
