@FlightlessWish Usually, no. Even one fish is likely to die or live a miserable life in a bowl, due to the size constraints (2 gallons at most) and the lack of gas exchange and filtration. BiOrb does make some absurdly large bowls, though, in excess of 20 gallons and complete with filtration and such, but then why not just get a tank?

@FlightlessWish yes, they can live in a fish bowl.. my mom had a goldfish when she was growing up and it lived in a bowl for 15 years..

@krys102884 Some people can get by with a bowl but the goldfish will definitely never grow to full potential and they won't be happy there - not even a fancy. Only a beta will be happy enough there.
