Recorder self-quartet. Rather short, a bit too fast and I lost tempo with the second part, but I still enjoyed making it.
This is traditional Flanders music.

  • i like the glass recorders their coool

  • @kylexwiel Actually they are all plastic.

  • Is that a Dolmetsch Nova Alto?

  • No, it's a plastic brand I cannot remember the name of. I no longer have this instrument.

  • don't insult yourself. it was in tempo good, and it sounded fancy!! i wish i could mix movies like that, too. it would be fun to make a conversation with myself or something funny like that.

  • All you need is a multi-track video software and a headset.

And thank you for the nice comment!

  • I think he likes to blow :3

  • Sounds pretty nice, you flute friki...

  • Also, can you tell me where to go to listen to and sample great french and occitan music? Traditional or modern. Maybe I could be the first guy on my block to hear a great french rock band before anyone else knows of them? Really though, I'm just interested in understanding how french music is evolving. The only trouble is, I can't speak french! BTW my ancestors are from Auvergne, so that's why I'm interested.

  • Can you play any Auvergnat traditional music?

  • your beyond badass

  • @PLF1977 it looks like an Dolmetsch, though. I have one, but it's missing the pad mechanism on the foot joint. Anyway, thanks again for this video (I commented earlier as MrGilliardMusic). I showed it to my students today along with a few vids from the Flanders Recorder Quartet. They all got a kick out of 'playing by yourself'.

  • I think you`d need friends who are playing recorder too. it`s much more fun with a lot of people, than trying to play all the tunes with one man
