In Wikipedia it says: "Bruno Gigliotti, the brother of famous singer Dalida, also covered the song." .As far as I know, the song is a rather old traditional Egyptian folk song, perhaps Bruno Mori rearranged it.

Thanks to remember Orlando,bother of Dalida.He was an arabic star in the 60's and after a real support in Dalida's successful carrier.Ya Mustapha is still a tube in oriental community.

yes the original song is Egyptian but not by Bob Azzam , originally it is by Bruno Mori (brother of great singer Dalida) who is lately known as Orlando Mori .
