1. The 'Spot Shimmy' is called the 'Get Down', a move by James Brown. Although MJ does it, it's technically a JB move. There is a video somewhere on Youtube with James Brown explaining this and other of his steps.

2. 'The Clappers' is probably an incorrect name, but you're missing a vital part of that step that 95% of people don't even notice. Inbox me if you want me to explain, not enough room here.
