  • Some very expressive, accurate playing with great precision. Your tone is so solid; you make it look almost easy.

I don't think I've ever heard the piano part played that serenely. It makes it sound almost like a nocturne. I'm used to my music teacher pounding away at the keys and galloping off at break-neck speed at about 2:31.

  • Extraordinary!. love the humble pianist..so gentle.

  • A lovely voice in both parts, and beautifully shaped. Also, an absence of the annoying mannerisms or tonal characteristics which made me frantically click away from many other versions.

  • großartige Künstler beide! Danke!

  • Wonderful interpretation, thank you

  • Mazeltov. Beautifully played.

  • What a beautiful live recording!

I am a huge Rachmaninoff fan.

I came across this video because I am going to be playing this sonata again with my cellist this year and wanted to check out some of the youtube clips.

Congratulations to you and your father - great team!

  • Sorry about that Nstrumentalist1986. You're right and it bugs me too. I didn't notice it until after this video was made.

  • Hey, het bejaarden echtpaar bestaat nog XD

  • Glorious huh

well your a very well mannered and polite. i guess i let my emotions get the best of me during that climax..........i just had to role my eyes, had to cuz for every time a cellist plays it beautifully or GLORIOUS they tend to fuck it all up during the climax. makes me wanna throw my laptop at the wall hoping to shatter the screen.

  • @Nstrumentalist1986 its really not worth complaining about ... it is glorious

  • Beautiful
