I find the SMS version ALOT better than the Megadrive version! 1. Better music! 2. Chaos emeralds are easier to collect if you know where they are (I sure know!) 3. It's 8-BIT AWESOMENESS! 4. Mastersystem is what Genesisnt! 5. Masters play the master system!

you do realize the master system is 8 bit, and the genesis is 16 bit, if a game came out on the n64 that also came out on the super nintendo and came out on the nes you would see a huge jump between each version.

i don't have anything against him, its just that the Sega Genesis Alex Kidd wasn't very good.

There is one thing I'd say the master version that was better is the music in the scrap brain zone is better than the mega drive genesis scrap brain zone and collecting all the emeralds was better in the SMS version cos I hate sonic special stages. The SMS is slightly different than the game gear version. All 2D sonic games are much much much better than all the 3D sonic games.
