Ok to start with at 4:41 he isn't cheating, it could be a glitch in the binary code ALOT of NES games had them THOUSANDS even, stop hating on a player that is Better than you ok?

It's a glitch. If you run past it then head back like he did it skips the cut scene. If you go to the guy who actually did this' you tube page he explains it.

In world 4-2 the warp pipe he goes down at 2:09 does not lead to the warp zones, that is from a vine a few frames back.
