No, I had to take a break to save up for the next stage. I am planning to start work again in a few months.

It is about having the funds and time to do the work to the right quality. It may take a few years, but the result will ber great.

I wonder what the cost is to buy a banger and restore it, verses a completely restored 65 E?

My advice would be to buy the best car you can afford and work on that rather than buy a cheap car and undertake a big restoration. In my case, I have owned this car since 1976 (bought for £1,600) but it has been in storage for a long time and needed work on the body before it could be used again.
