  • aprox. 100 miliamps is lethal correct? So, this would only hurt very bad? Interesting.

Nice experiment, I'm getting myself one :p

  • @crusiatusblack; Actually 30ma across the heart can cause cardiac arrest.. Just be careful...

  • do u have a Tesla coil those things are bad ass

although the slat on the electrodes was pretty awsome

  • @gamma526; Check my videos. 9kv 30ma Tesla Coil - Portable Setup shows my latest coil in detail.

  • Captured the arcs really well, great video!

  • @havocdaemon; Thanks you...

  • the best for 9KV

  • Why the music?? ruins the sound of the spark

  • how hard would it be to make one of these go up about 6 foot ?

  • Any tutorials?

  • @gt4awd

its neither the Amps nor the voltage that kills you, its the POWER (voltage x AMPS) that kills!

  • @NesteHukka2 try increasing the primary winding voltage. Obviously you've made sure the primary and secondaries are the right way... i had a little kit i got from Jaycar which uses a car coil to make a Jacobs Ladder... worked a treat.

  • If the arc would ascend with a high speed .. say a quarter of the light speed. could it fly a distance when it looses contact with the wires ?

  • I tried today make something like this, using car ignition coil. However, I don't know what is wrong as I cannot get even one spark with gap of 5mm. I just have tried manually "simulating breaker points". The coil is new.

  • Thumbs up if you know what this is from playing Mercury on the PSP

  • That drum sound is very annoying. Yes, I muted it.
