@MrGemini1983 factor in there was at least 3 new seniors (Dementyeva, Nabieva, and Mustafina) who were better in the all around than her, plus her consistency was not great.

It's weird to me that she was only the alternate in 2010, when she competed so well in 2009.

she really peaked at the wrong time. had she performed this in 2010 she would have won a medal because the judges love to overscore the russians now
