I think you've missed something. There are so many people preaching and condescending and saying "it's in the Bible" and "look it up" but who can never follow through when I say "You win, show me." I've decided to call all of them out. So far the results have been less than spectacular.

There isn't a passage to refer to in any religious book I have ever read, this fool just feels that using such a tool will make you "hear voices", cause his mamma told him so... yet for sure, any tool which is such that it draws the users awareness into a receptive state will allow the person to hear, be it voices or whatever. Just scrying, be it demons or who knows, the user just needs to understand what he is doing or it would be nothing more than voices
