Will i get WIRELESS internet to my 360 or do i need to use my cable every time i use it
because i have WIRED internet but i want WIRELESS
-
thanks man, you're a lifesaver!!

@Grimekat It honestly just depends on your internet connection. Mine has no issues playing online games and has very minimal lag. Some people might experience faster or slower speeds than I've experienced though.

Is the connection strong enough to play games online without considerable lag?

Don't forget that lion disowns airport now and refers to 'wifi' instead.

@NeonSteel1 I know, but thanks for mentioning it.

'Airport' does not appear in network settings in system preferences only 'bluetooth PAN', 'firewire', 'wi-fi', 'bluetooth DUN' and 'ethernet'. I've tried wi-fi but it did not work. Also the IP address given on the website you mentioned differs from the one found under system preference>network>wifi.

@NeonSteel1 What version of OS X do you have?
jorboogie93 5 months ago
@jorboogie93 probably solved but do take note, after upgrading to osx lion the xbox preferred the IP settings set to automatic :S not manual as you showed in your video. DNS settings were okay the way you showed in your video.

@NeonSteel1 Yeah, I'm aware of that. I upgraded to Lion less than a week after I filmed this (if I recall correctly) and I noticed the changes. I figured this would still be relevant for awhile though, as many people probably won't upgrade right away. I meant to add a note in the video but forgot until you brought it up. I'll make sure to add that if using Lion, set the IP settings to Auto.
