I don't want to sound rude, but I find it hard to buy your story.
I had a G5 iMac before that never stalled, using the same Logic version.
Now I have a Quad Core Intel iMac and it shits itself every time I blink.
On the G5 I had several Sound Designers opened, now I hardly use 'm because I'm afraid they will stall the system.
I want my MPC60 back.

Increase buffer size to 1024 samples
make sure your power settings are optomized for high performance

I have a project with 4 little audio tracks and kontact3 with 8 instruments. My computer is a mac pro 2X2,8 quad etc...I don't why I have to get all these overload messages. I think I might get rid of logic.

do you mean that it can permanantly kill the CPU? i really hope not. sometimes i lock tracks when i'm running stuff too ahrd - but actually cos im usually going for a live sound i've found that using the auxillery sends is the best way to go - im a big fan of space designer and use it on every single thing i do.

I don't run space designer but My HD gets overloaded whenever I record audio. I have all the latencey issues taken care of and enough ram and hd space to record onto, so I don't understand what is wrong???

Sorry, you're wrong - space designer is part of Logic for long long time (from version 6). Delay Designer is the new plugin from version logic 8.
