Not to play devil's advocate but I seem to recall a very popular brand of t-shirt sporting an image of Bush with the phrase "not my president" on it. Libs aren't much smarter than conservatives or republicans.

Call yourself a Democrat and tell them something and they will start a riot, no matter what you say; Call yourself a Republican and say the same thing, they'll believe it. If I pretended to be a Republican, went down to the south and yelled "LETS ALL GO GET PIZZA INSTEAD OF WASTING OUR TIME ON ARGUING ABOUT WHETHER OBAMA IS OR IS NOT AMERICAN!", they would all blindly follow because in their eyes I would not be an enemy. If I said I am a Democrat, they would not believe a word that I would say.
