Music stopped being this good when punk worked its way into the mainstrean,
about 1980 or earlier. I remember and still don't like it. I used to listen to the great radio stations but don't now; the music we're offered now is, to put it mildly, anticlimactic. Bob

@MrSonny119 Can't agree more! That was an era when music and lyrics were something special. I am so glad that I was a part of that time. It's very sad that John Hartford is no longer with us and Glen Campbell is suffering from Alzheimer's. Thank goodness for youtube postings of a great time in pop music history.
