As the crowd cheered at a Sarah Palin rally this morning in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a man in the audience grinned as he held up a stuffed monkey doll with a Barack Obama bumper sticker wrapped across its forehead.

After Palin finished her remarks this morning, the man holding the stuffed monkey seemed to notice that a video camera was pointed at him, at which point he removed the Obama sticker from the doll's head and crumpling it up in his hand. He then handed the doll to a young boy who was watching the rally from his father's shoulders. The boy's parents later told CBS News that they weren't acquainted with the man who gave their son the stuffed monkey.

  • @dlstb Current year expenses are paid from current Social Security tax revenues. When revenues exceed expenditures, as they have in most years, the excess is invested in special series, non-marketable U.S. Government bonds. You want to know where SSI went. It went into funding wars and the military industrial complex not to the poor. You need to grow up and stop trying to argue that your fellow Americans that you swore an oath to protect are responsible for this problem.

  • @dlstb You're done talking to me because you are ignorant. Here you can't have a civil discussion without cursing and swearing and threatening violence. If you met me in person, you would do nothing, so cut the threats out they are immature and silly.

  • @dlstb Wrong it's highly moral for you to mandate the safety protocals for all vehicles because remember whether you choose to drive that vehicle or not, you aren't on the road by yourself. You also cannot ignore the safety standards that goods and services needs require because everyone that purchases these products do not know how they were made. There is no constitutional restriction on government mandated safety. You show me where in the constitution it says that.

  • @dlstb Maybe but it would be considerably unsafe to drive. All the government safety requirements were put together to ensure that when a person drove his or her vehicle, that vehicle was safe. Like I said before I find it interesting that you consider safety standards to be bs when it comes to protecting the lives of people.

  • @dlstb Actually air injection injects air into the engine not the exhaust. The mechanism by which exhaust emissions are controlled depends on the method of injection and the point at which air enters the exhaust system, and has varied during the course of the development of the technology.

The first systems injected air very close to the engine, either in the cylinder head's exhaust ports or in the exhaust manifold.

You have to remember that this tech started in 1966 not 1975.

  • @dlstb We aren't talking about what I believe. We are talking about your supposition that paying for other's welbeing is theft. I stated that if someone who has left military service is entitled to still have free medical care. I didn't state whether they were injured in battle or not. Actually I know several veterans that get free medical care from the VA. Again not the point and please answer the question and stop side stepping the issue.

  • @Ryooken SSI trust fund is gov't bonds, there is no real value and taxpayers will be on the hook for providing this benefit to seniors and disabled by 2018. All those SSI taxes went to pay for your social engineering programs and there is nothing left. The national debt clock should readily prove this fact.

  • @Ryooken I'm done talking to you. If there is a hell, I know you are going to go there. also, let me just say that if I ever meet you in person, I'll do the world a favor. You contort every fact to make it read your way and when anyone points out your flaws you just call them ignorant and keep distorting reality. I'm seriously done with people like you and as much as I hate to say it, I'd welcome a genocide against people with your mentality of big gov't.

  • @Ryooken It is not moral for you to mandate what risks another person cannot accept in their daily life concerning their own safety. You are conflating national security with personal safety. Those are not congruent ideas. In fact, gov't mandating personal safety for the citizens is unconstitutional and limits the individual's freedom while protecting this nation from real foreign threats ensures the rights of the individual. Those are two extremely different outcomes.

  • @Ryooken And all of those sophisticated sytems were mandated by a gov't agency (ABS, TCS, airbags, etc) so they are unnecessary and increase the weight of the vehicle just like catalytic convertors and smog pump do and did. BTW, back in the 50's cars had huge and heavy generators, not the small and efficient alternators we use today. They also came with optional A/C which used larger pumps than we have now, so if a car were built w/o all the gov't BS it would be considerably lighter.
