City to City Cabaret is a sociable dance event which features the best bits of a traditional cabaret event (table service, live band, compére) alongside a distinctly modern diverse line-up of dance, performance, spoken word, and film.
Αnother British Council Creative Collaboration activity under the general project Skills Exchange, which brings us a wonderful collaborative cabaret performance focusing on making links between the UK and dance artists and organisations in Bulgaria, Croatia and Greece.
The CITYTOCITY CABARET project is the result of a two-year collaboration between the Greenwich Dance Agency (UK), Full House Promotion (Greece), the Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance/HIPP (Croatia) and Heteropodi Dance (Bulgaria).
The project aims to promote the diversity of European dance by facilitating creation and performance opportunities and cultural exchange between artists, cultural leaders and creative entrepreneurs in four the partner cities (London, Sofia, Zagreb and Athens).
