God DAM! Me to, exactley the same story. I loved the fact they put "wanker" in the lyrics in what was essentially a very crafted, textured, pretty song. The old "juxtaposition" of it... on a seperate note, it's funny how often a free CD from a magazine has turned out to be one of my favourite CDs - viva freebies!

that was just brilliant. we so often get saturated by the stereotypical 'young white male with an acoustic guitar' from the states - it usually comes across as twee: the waster guy singing to girls some heartfelt dross, but that was breathtaking. i'm a heterosexual male and i haven't even seen your face but damn, that was attractive...

This song was my first introduction to Mansun, from the cover of the Q Magazine 'Mmmmm...' CD back in 1996. I went on to be a huge fan, went to loads of gigs, covered a bunch of their songs at the 'mansun fan convention' at the Liverpool Lomax and all sorts. Big part of my yoof.

Nice! Thanks for posting your rendition. I have 'Lemonade Secret Drinker' on one of those UK music mag comps. How come very few people know this song - is it obscure?
BTW, I never knew acoustic guitars come in that shade of green!
