Noe Guzman, a DREAM Act student from Missouri, tells Senate staffers the story of being arrested by ICE when he was trying to register to serve in the US Marines. Recorded during a briefing in the US Capitol on October 23rd, 2009. The DREAM Act is a piece of legislation that would create a path to legal status for young people who grew up in the U.S. and want to go to college or serve in the U.S. military.

I know this young man that just graduated with the class of 2009 and wants to be In th U.S. Navy but can't he is hoping for the Dream Act to pass in order to sign up.

i personaly, in my opinion, believe the young women/men in this country who fall under the dream act proposal should have a shot at earning their recidency and ultimately their citizenship through our military service or college...i mean; theyve allready proven themselves worthy by comming this far...i grew up among many Dream Act Students, they are as patriotic as any other American Citizen....

There're 6B potential "dream" actors waiting for their turn. There's one question to ask: How many people are acceptable to be allowed citizenship per year? The rest get hunted down, prosecuted, & deported, & no anchor babies, if they're in the process of legally obtaining citizenship then fine otherwise no. Politican tools prostitute citizenship for votes & blood, waging unconstitutional wars. Patriotic my ass, they want in & don't want to be in line...
