Zombie Woods

I don't feel that this one turned out too great, but I figured that somebody might like it.

The idea is that there is a forest that creates Zombies. The wood doesn't burn so they have to chop down each of the trees one at a time, and they grow back right away (see the multiple stumps on the trees). After dark the Zombies come out, and there is a fog that seeps from the forest which acks as a sedative. In this drawing there is a guy who decided to take a nap after felling one of the trees and unfortunately for him... he slept past sunset.

10 hours Photoshop CS1. This piece just never came together for me. Just when I was really starting to want it to be done, I enjoied a rare photoshop crash. This was great because that meant I was done. The image you see was actually rescued from the time-lapse video I was recording.

I tried out painting with color from the start and found that I didn't like that technique very much. This drawing was like running in flippers for me. A lot of false steps, cumborsome, and overall a lot of waisted work. There was a lot of detail that went into the bark that was lost both by the final contrast and by the compression imposed by the compression.

I so love this vid. I dig this music you have here and it goes so well with the painting and it's cool how you got it to go in tact with the process of the whole thing :)

Wow, what a complement. I consider myself a studed, but more of drawing then of Photoshop at this point. The thing to me was to learn all of the hotkeys so that I could focus on the drawing without having to distract my attention. Thanks :)

Um, yeah. I drew a lot as a kid. Then I went to school for "computer video imaging". I learned editing, photoshop, 3d, and a little programming.

I'd love to learn to Photoshop, my pencil drawings are always very great and my classmates are always stunned by my drawings, but Photoshop, well, it's just to complicated, well maybe because im 13,

But there's one thing i don't like about this painting, the front two trees have to many branches on them, especially the left one, and does that zombie has four arms? (not that that's a problem though)

Other than that, great painting, love the atmosphere, it worked out great!

Amazing, I don't know what else to say! So far your art is the best I've seen on yt in my opinion, and I think the picture isn't bad at all. I'd love to learn Photoshop, but I draw with pencil mostly. =\ Plus I love the song, great job. =)
