@jppged I've misspoke. I wanted to say that it still had famine from 1900 to the 1940 or so, in the 1950 the world was too much industrialized and rich in europe to have famine. Forgive my misspoke.

@MrRedpartisan there was no "famine" in middle 20th century (50's), but a food shortage. It was not a famine, like in the civil war.

He have industrialized russia, the ussr passed from a third world country to the second world largest power, he have destroyed hitler, by program he've learn to read to his population who was in majority illitérate And he made the soviet people be proud of themself. Those are some of the good point of Stalin.

@MrBoyindahood Agree, I don't Support Monarchy but it was indeed sad people who supported such died trying to preserved the state. The Soviet Union was Great, Intill Stalin steped in. Making it even worser then the Czar's period...
