MILITIA Iron Boxes LIVE Rehearsal in The Garage

A little background, MILITIA was a original metal band that wore fur and war paint as the result of being "The Only Survivors Of The Third World War" MILITIA played at many CT clubs like The Twilight Zone, Agora Ballroom, Keg House, along with The Pinecrest in Shelton with Obsession, Red Alert (Steel Heart) and Mad Racket a few times.

MILITIA went on with the original line-up playing mostly CT clubs for about 2-3 years before we started to have some disagreements in musical direction and opinions which in turn was the cause of me (Dan Hansell) to leave the band first then John Rampino (Rampage) soon after, John and I then formed a band called Secret Weapon who John brought into the picture Dave Csire a awesome guitar player from Bridgeport who was great at riffs and song writing ideas. I found Charlie Kavanagh (singer) singing at keg parties and was blown away by his ability so I insisted he come to band practice and try out. When John and Dave heard Charlie for the first time... he got the job really quick!! I left the band just before they started giging because I decided to become more involved as a father of soon to be my second child and Secret Weapon went on as a one guitar playing band
