The Water Music is a collection of three suites, composed by George Frideric Handel. Its first premiere was on a barge. On July 17, 1713 king George I requested a concert on Thames. So fifty musicians were playing Water Music on a barge sailing close to the royal boat where king and his guests were having lunch. George I loved the suites and made exhausted musicians plaly them three times throughout his whole trip.
