Long overdue payback for the Bruins.

@WoodyAllenNY I was kind of wondering why the faceoff was outside of the dot...

My dad used to mark his old tapes like "Bruins Playoffs" or "Celtics Playoffs" or name the 2 teams that are playing in succession.
However this one tape had simply "Bye Bye Habs" written on it and inside were all 4 games of this series, That shows you how much this series meant to old time Bruins fans.

Great memories. Cusak could really call a game, he really brought hockey to life.

Neely was so exciting to watch. The 80's and 90's were a good time for hockey. There were so many superstars. Sad most are retired.

Didn't Bob Joyce score some goals against Patrick Roy ( 1987-88, and or 1988-89 ) in play offs, I can't remember, and can't find stats.

Game 2 was the real turning point of the series!

"The long drought is ended...How sweet it is"! The end of Montreal's winning streak and the begining of Many Montreal's LOSSES to the Bruins in the playoffs. HOW SWEET IT IS!!
Love this game! I really miss Burridge - wish the org would bring him in to work under Sweeny in some capacity. Anyone know who Bruins #27 was?

@corona73 Burridge was my favorite player back in the day.
27 is Bob Joyce.
