  • Where did you find the original footage?

I would like to know, for I am creating a documentary on him.

    Thanks!

  • The original source was from a beta tape lot. The person was trying to create a news achieve and was taping news segments (not full broadcasts) of events that interested him/her ... making a doc of Church's life sounds like a great idea

  • Should he have been a typical conservative from Idaho by promoting anti-environmental laws and foreign interventions?

  • Frank Church should have been Vice President from 1977-1984. Muskie-Church!

  • I've always wondered if Frank Church was 'cancered' to death by the cia. His 1970's congressional hearings into the cia's dirty business of illegal/unconstitutional/immoral/satanic activities gave us a trove of information that showed just how out of control and rabid this agency had become. Frank Church was a brave and true Patriot. Scripture says "Expose wickedness" and "My people perish for lack of knowledge."

  • No he should have represented his constiuents better than what he did by keeping his campaign promises, his view on the environment was not what got him defeated. Remember 12 others lost thier seats besides him.

  • Sentor Church did a lot for the environment. He just made the mistake that so many people who get elected make. He FORGOT who he represented

  • Oh, okay, thanks.

I am making a documentary on FC's environmentalist side (focused more on the Wilderness Bill & Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area) for National History Day.
