Much better quality video then my first one of the dynavin. Clip is a quick video of the Dynavin all in one headunit installed on an E39 M5. Stock setup had DSP amplifier which was removed along with stock Nav, radio, cd changer, and radio (all of these are for sale if you are interested in purchasing shoot me a message on here). After wiring RCA cables to the front along with power lines for the headunit, the unit worked like a charm. If you have any requests of features you'd like to see, feel free to contact me. I will be selling these units if you own an e39, e53, or e38 and would like to upgrade to an all in one unit please email me for purchase details. Further information is provided here on dynavin's product information page: http://www.dynavin.com/products/product_dnv_e39.php

  • How did you get the updated menus and navigation? What site did you use? Do you know if there is a override to keep the music playing while backing up?

  • @runite39 what updated menus are you talking about? Those were all the same ones that came with my unit. There is also not an override for the reverse camera music cut you just have to live with it.

  • Hey buddy, does it have an aux input ? If so what about pluggin an infrared camera to i and installing in the front bumper, that way you would have the night vision function of the newer 5 and 7 series, I`m not sure if you would be able to hear anything while in the aux mode

  • Hi. Are you sure that this product will work on E38? I have searched for the information, but I haven't found any pictures or topics about it. Let me know, thanks!

  • Hi there, Can I ask if this is controlled by the steering wheel buttons? Many thanks.

  • @cky12a thanks man great idea, but then i have to take my eye off the road to select songs.. I got use to restarting the ipod when it disconnects. I just made up some playlist and it solved alot... hopefullt a firmware is in the works

  • @crescentfallen99 All of your statements are in regards to the ipod portion of the unit. You should considering hooking up audio cables to your aux in cables. You could easily control directly from the ipod from the ipod itself and get the same effects you are looking for just without the ability to control what's going on on the screen. If you have an ipod touch you can hook up a mirror app called tvout or something comparable that will display whatever is on your ipod.

  • @Csal43 You can purchase a Fakra cable that will be run from the headunit to the stock amp located in the trunk. I chose not to do this as I was looking to upgrade my entire speaker setup and opted for the aftermarket amp.
