Incredible! Swimming pools are getting filled in with earth because it is too cold to swim in July. We do not get summer any more. Crops are at least two weeks behind. Ask any farmer. The 'summer' of 2009!

  • As a Canadian I can only hope that this is a joke. Either that or we may have a new candidate for Canada's stupidest man.

  • @rugbyguy59 It is not a joke.

  • Did anyone notice the old TV aerial on the roof? This is a '70s era video. It is so weird (Orwellainly so) listening to Global Warming pimps deny that people were pushing this Global Cooling meme then. I read about it in my school news reader. I saw it on Saturday morning cartoons (Super Friends!). It was everywhere. You are being lied to. There is no global warming.

  • @rugbyguy59 lol

  • Well we haven't had a scorcher of a summer for a few years but I wouldn't say people are filling their pools just yet because of icebergs floating around in them. lol

  • @tomsquirks So it's official then. Canada's stupidest climate denier.

  • I was in Florida for most of this past winter and I can probably count on both hands the number of days that the temp hit 75 or above and it was a beach-worthy or bathing suit-worthy day. It was that cold.

  • Weather doesn't equal climate

  • yeah its been but cold in florida for the past 3 years ..i usually can go swimming or walk around in a shortl sleeved shirt in the winter now its been hitting record lows

  • I'm sorry, but I don't believe this.....If you actually had the homeowner stating this, that would be different. But I had friends who filled in their pool ,probably 12 years ago.....during a series of HOT HOT summers. Simply because the pool liner would have cost over 4,000 & they didn't think it was worth the money .BTW , yes, we're behind 2 weeks(at least) in Ontario. The last 2 years have been brutal (Global Warming?????WT* )But this swimming pool proves nothing, as far as I can see.
