  • Why is it that a bunch of the videos on youtube that have been rendered in blender seem to always be "Glitchy" if you will? They are always pausing and resuming vary quickly and that loading circle doesn't go away.

  • I think they changed some code in their web player, because before I did not have that problem, which not only occurs on a blender rendered video. it must be a problem of codec/conversion

  • Great job! Did you use radiosity, if not, what kinda light did you use?

    Very impressive.

  • No radiosity

I used the ambiant occlusion with a power of 2 or 2.5...I don't remember...

  • what was the render time?

  • Actually I don't remember...maybe 6 - 8 hours

  • how much for blender????

  • @HholyDiver42 It happens when videos are posted without sound. If the video has a soundtrack, even a completely quiet one, this problem will go away.

Although I think youtube fixed it already...

  • how handy

  • @Tippmann01 What is your problem? We know that :P

  • Hey, I am trying to achieve such an explosion effect on rigid bodies with 2.54, do you have any idea how I could do that?

  • @Herlyskate It's really not.

  • I wonder is there any Blender TV ads somewhere. This one could be good example.

  • @HholyDiver42

Also when you render a blender video it is pretty large.

  • @HholyDiver42

I think that only happens because the videos tend to be very short,

on average about 10-20 seconds, the youtube player is desgined to work with videos much longer than this. I think anyway...

  • I've been looking for tutorials that leach that type of stuff but i cant find any that realy help
