I'm pro gay marriage, but this ad is absolutely appalling. The execution was so far off of the mark. What a shame.

The problem with this ad is that it seems to target gay people. Gay people already understand the issue, straight people not so much. If you want the support of straight voters you're going to have to ditch the whole gay thing - "Gay marriage isn't about being gay, it's about human rights and equality". Personally, I don't care what a gay couple gets up to just as I don't care what Paris Hilton does on the weekend. Ditch the whole gay thing and target what matters to everyone - human rights.
