@simiyachaq well the fact that everyone outsources to China because of cheap labor is indicative. I don't expect there would be any government-supported statistics, for self-explanatory reasons, but if there are any independent statistics, I'd like to hear about them.
Off topic: If China wasn't exploitative of its poor people, I'd still boycott it (and I do) because of the human rights it denies its citizens (various religious groups for instance, including Catholics).

It's a good thing such a punishment is not practiced here in the states. There would hardly be any executives left alive, especially in banking and stocks.
