what if its an automatic?
-
hi
-
not sure what you are talking about. why would i keep it in drive when i want it to stop.
the situation is obviously the case where we can't use our brakes that why we use the ebrake, btw if you're refering to EBRAKE for engine break, i am afraid you are mistaken. EBRAKE stands for emergency brake.

If you put into neutral "N" will remove the control on engine and makes the situation more dangerous. What will you do if your car lost the brake while driving on downhill road? Use your engine brake dude.

@BlightBlaze583 VERY TRUE!!!!!!!!!!

Whatsoever.
-
@BlightBlaze583 its simple. Tell your wife to push it
-
@apo123321 And replace them sooner too! :)

that dude actually knows how to drive, what he says is fully correct, slowing down the car with only shifting into lower gears are also called engine or motor brake, and can be down with a manual or automatic too.
-
put it into "N" for neutral which disengages the engine from wheels then itll start to slow down, if you want you can slowly lift your E brake or slowly step on your paddle brake (whichever one your car has) if your ebrake doesnt work you're fucked :D

next video should be how to drive a car with no engine
