Don't apologize for someone else's stupidity. Some people only care about what's going on within a 10 mile radius around them. They can't appreciate other genres and styles that shaped the world today. That would require broadening their horizons and expanding their knowledge and, well, very few seem to care about that these days. Which is why you have people like us who cherish the old days (and old ways) and wish we could've lived back then :)
