This is what I gather from all the tidbits of news reports about the storyline of the Chivas musical, "Live With Chivalry".

Rose, Ah Sas character, is a young innocent girl who loves to sing. She performs in a dance hall daily. She and jimmys char are lovers who get separated for many yrs then reunited. Chilams character is the boss of the dance hall. I guess thats how their costumes changed from casual looks (jimmy in a red sweater, Ah Sa in the checkered coat) to the older more mature looks (Jimmy in suit and tie and a tux, Ah Sa in the white evening gown). The story is about Roses struggle to become a famous artist and how the lovers went their separate ways then reunited.
