Objective reached. Mission failed.
-
It is explained in the mission accomplished video, there was another Radar Dome.
Not that you got ANY hint of this in the mission itself mind.

but this is not radar dome this is the chronosphere

Stalin: "This was not to happen!!!!!!!!! The chronosphere was to be ours!!!!!!!"
Now I know why. :P

Just another day in Neo-Stalin era. You think you did a good job and get yourself shot.

I didnt get this bug back when I played. It proceeded to show the Chronosphere success video. Then, BEFORE the next briefing, the Chronosphere was shown exploding.

LOL

What mission was this? I could never get past like mission 5. xD
Red Alert was a completely different animal then the original C&C.

Damn westwood is good.
I remember this bug, from way back when I played it in '98.
Made me rage seeing as it was nonsensical as nothing in the mission or the briefing said it would happen, only the cutscene after once you figure out for yourself how to beat the missions - and secondly as I hadn't saved for about an hour and lost nearly all my progress...

@TheChrisD Did you develop saving OCD from it? I can't play any game with a save function without abusing it every minute. No more progress loss for me.

dude.. this is supposed to happen... it's part of the plot of the game! remember the video afterward? stalin is all pissed cuz there was another radar dome or whatever... or do ya'll just ESC the cutscenes? you did everything right in the mission, and you still progress to the next mission and eventually win the game. this is supposed to happen. YOUTUBE VIDEO FAIL

@pchclx Ah, that fully explains the "Do you want to restart this mission?" screen afterwards.
