@BaoMatt82 There are certain ways around this problem. Some very simple.
-
@gasdorf both. 22 is zombie proven. most efective gun for zombies

These jam because of the overly beefy spring inside. The lower velocity ammo just does not have the power to cycle the bolt effectively causing jamming and stove piping. If they made lighter springs, the gun would not have any trouble with the lower velocity ammo types.

@wbfos wish i saw your comment earlier, i was having a lot of jamming issues
-
@jgand72 use CCI coper coated rounds you'll get much better cycling results

Me and my dad just realized we have one of these packed away. It's an original ArmaLite. How's the accuracy of it? I haven't had a chance to get to a range...

Using rifles to defend against a tyrannical govt is outdated/obsolete. The two primary tools of liberation militias around the world is 1) IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices). The notion that militias - even well armed militias - can take on a modern army in a stand up fight is ludicrous. 2) Non violent resistance (The Ghandi approach). With that said - that's a sweet rifle.
Do you know were you can buy a larger magazine clip for these, because I can't find them anywere. Would love to get a banana clip for it. I wonder if the original ar-7 magazines would fit in this.

cute gun, but isn't it necessary to shoot the scope in every time when you put it together? this would be quite annoying...
kerkhoff87 2 years ago
well we did a check by sliding the scope completely back to the farthest poin allowable on the mount and then boresighted and fired it pretty acurate everytime ....as long as you replace it to the exact farthest point and place each time. if your off there then your out of sight. yes. but still nice option ... thanks for posting. Good question~
