@cirosuperiore What? Who are you to say that? I said with Maestro Barenboim for my Doctaral studies. He is considered one of the greatest Beethoven interpreters. Please, leave your ignorance on some other video.

much of what DB says is b.s. but the important thing is that he puts the students in a state of mind to play excellent.

I think the this whole Barenboim vs. Lang-Lang thing is irrelevant. I do not believe any of us here has the qualifications to gauge their technical skill or musical understanding.

one can learn sooooo much about music by just listening to Sir Barenboim talking about music... he doesn't need to touch one key.... so much wisdom.

The Waldstein sonata is not in the masterclasses. At least I don't have it in my DVD... :(
Hope you can enjoy the ones that I posted, though. :)
