  • The Waldstein sonata is not in the masterclasses. At least I don't have it in my DVD... :(

Hope you can enjoy the ones that I posted, though. :)

  • There will be. I will post the entire masterclasses with Lang Lang, David Kadouch and Jonathan Biss. Pls be patient. =)

  • wich sonata are they playing

  • @doomsday1216 yes!!! and with my TOES to boot (no pun intended)

  • @cirosuperiore i presume you say this based on your ability to play as many of beethoven's sonatas as impeccably as barenboim, yes?

  • @cirosuperiore What? Who are you to say that? I said with Maestro Barenboim for my Doctaral studies. He is considered one of the greatest Beethoven interpreters. Please, leave your ignorance on some other video.

  • much of what DB says is b.s. but the important thing is that he puts the students in a state of mind to play excellent.

  • I think the this whole Barenboim vs. Lang-Lang thing is irrelevant. I do not believe any of us here has the qualifications to gauge their technical skill or musical understanding.

  • statement and commentary... reminds me "old" times approach

  • The wisdom of the elders is priceless; tradition is the lifeblood of music.

  • in lang lang's heart, he might be saying: "dure, i'm more famous than you"

  • one can learn sooooo much about music by just listening to Sir Barenboim talking about music... he doesn't need to touch one key.... so much wisdom.

Thank you very much for uploading this!!
