They also certainly do not need RO water but temperatures do need to be at around 85 degrees.

I disagree with trevban. I have bred angelfish for over 20 years now and once they reach sexual maturaity at usually around 1 year old (if fed well and kept in good condition) the male is significantly larger and the female is much smaller. The humped head method is unreliable as i have found both genders appear to have a "humped" head. Check out some of my angelfish spawning video it is easy to determine their sex.

I got two small angel fish and I got some questions about them
How to check WAT gender they r?
How big do they have to b to breed ?
And if I have smaller fish like a Molly or male beta will the angel fish kill it ?

@FunE4life Their tricky to tell what gender they are when young, as they get older the females tend to develope the more humped cichlid head. They normally won't start breeding until they reach adult hood and the tank conditions are perfect. Try using RO water. There be fine with mollies and beta's. They only really pose a threat to smaller fish like the smaller tetra's when kept in confined /small tanks. The tank should be 3ft or bigger for them to be happy. Hope that helps.
